JetCard “Business Aviation Ecosystem” Now Available Following Beta Period
JetCard has officially launched its business aviation platform for flight simulation after a two-month beta period. The standalone application is designed to create a structured private aviation experience, with users taking on charter work, earning virtual income and building a reputation over time.
The platform is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, according to the publisher.
A living-world approach to private aviation
At the centre of JetCard is a live charter market where users can browse and accept city-pair trips. These trips come with scenarios and suggested aircraft categories, including turboprops, light jets, large jets, ultra-long-range jets and commercial charter aircraft.
The idea is to mirror the day-to-day realities of business aviation. Users can operate flights, account for costs and grow their standing within the platform. Instead of simply completing one-off assignments, progress carries over through persistent cash reserves and reputation.
That progression also affects how users can play. Pilots can begin by freelancing for NPC-operated charter companies, or they can join charter operators owned by other JetCard users. As they build enough in-game money, they can buy aircraft and set up their own company, which can then employ other players.
Standalone software with integrated tools
JetCard runs outside the simulator. Users access the live “Charter Board”, monitor flights and manage operational tasks.
One of the features is the built-in “jPhone” interface. This system is styled like a smartphone and is used to interact with virtual dispatch and crew, request FBO services, check weather, follow flight progress and access dispatch paperwork through SimBrief.
The developer says the main release is fully usable now, although some elements are still being refined. These include the integrated ACARS system and certain text-messaging functions inside the jPhone interface.
Details on exactly how deep those unfinished systems currently go are limited, but the core platform is described as operational in this version 1.0 release.
One-time purchase model
JetCard is launching as a one-time purchase rather than a mandatory subscription service. The developer says that core features, including the AI-generated narrative elements, are included in the purchase price.
The only planned paid add-on mentioned so far is JetCard Live, an optional subscription feature due later this summer, intended to support more advanced AI voices and interactive conversations.
Launch pricing and availability
JetCard is being offered at an early adopter price of $14.99 for the first 500 users. Once that allocation is gone, the product will move to its regular price of $19.99. It is available now from the official JetCard website.
